MAST® SPUTAGEST liquefying agent permits easy and effective isolation of organisms from sputum samples.
Bacteria responsible for chronic lung disease are often unevenly distributed throughout mucus which has a matrix-like structure. Liquefication using Mast’s well established Sputagest enables even distribution by releasing microorganisms that may be trapped within a sputum sample, whilst decreasing sample viscosity.
